Serving Africa is not what we do but who we are. Joint Aid Management (JAM) is an African founded and headquartered, Christian, international humanitarian relief and development organisation, operating sustainable aid programmes targeting the most vulnerable people throughout the African continent. We operate on a fully inclusive basis, without discrimination of race, religion, gender, or political persuasion.
Founded in 1984 by South-African born Peter and Ann Pretorius,
JAM is a multi-national Non-Profit Organisation.
For more than three decades, we have affected sustainable changes through various programmes. Our mission is to provide food security, nutrition, water and sanitation to vulnerable communities in Africa in dignified and sustainable ways. We run a multitude of programmes in Angola, Mozambique, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, South Sudan and Uganda.
To provide food security, nutrition, water and sanitation to vulnerable communities in Africa in dignified and sustainable ways.
An Africa that thrives.
To eradicate hunger, poverty and malnutrition in Africa.
When we first began, our vision was to address the needs of many African communities, with a focus on sustainable development to assist in the fight against poverty. To achieve our assistance to more than 1.1 Million beneficiaries we have gained the loyal support of individuals and organisations including churches, non-governmental organisations, local and national governments, corporates and private donors. We have partnered with international and local donors to become one of the largest African founded development organisations.
